Meeting God the Father

Several years ago on Father’s Day I had been wishing God the Father a happy Father’s Day. That night as I prayed I again wished him a happy Father’s Day. Then I heard Jesus quietly say “Would you like to meet him?” Since it states in scripture that no one has seen the Father and lived, I asked him if I could do that without dying. He held his hand out to me and suddenly we were standing at what I think was the entrance to heaven. Everything around us were these beautiful pastel colors. It was so beautiful and my whole being was filled with love. The love was perfect, enveloping and comforting me. It was like being awash in a sea of love. Jesus than started walking forward still holding my hand. That was when I noticed this radiant, bright light up ahead. It was dazzling and yet it didn’t hurt to look at it. It drew me in. When we took another couple of steps I noticed the silhouette of a what looked like a large and powerful seated man. As I took another step forward I realized that the perfect love I was feeling surrounding me and flowing through me was coming from him and that he was God the Father. It was the most amazing moment of my life and I could have stayed there forever. Then I became aware of other people on either side of me but in a moment it was over. I was breathless, overwhelmed and so grateful to Jesus and the Father for this glimpse of heaven. It is something I will never forget and a goal to reach when I die.
