Since we just celebrated Father’s Day I thought I would continue with my experiences with God the Father. After Jesus brought me to the entrance of heaven and I could see the Father’s silhouette in the beautiful brilliant light and feel his amazing love permeating everywhere in heaven I was speaking with Jesus and asking about the Father. I was sitting at my kitchen table and suddenly I could see the Father. My eyes started at the top of his head and I moved my gaze down and looked into his eyes. His eyes were grey and shot with yellow but what I saw was all of the wisdom there ever was and ever will be in his eyes. His gaze was so overwhelming I thought I would die if I continued to gaze into his eyes. I looked away and it was over. A few days later I was again in my kitchen and the Father appeared again. This time he was shading his eyes. He lifted me into his lap and told me to put my head against his chest. I wondered if I would hear his heart beat then wondered if he had a heart that I could hear. As I placed my head against his chest, his heart beat. I was not prepared for what happened. As his heart beat, his creative power flowed through me, overwhelming me and making me wonder if I would survive the experience but I trusted that he would not hurt me.
I had pulled my head away from his chest in fear but now I layed it back down on his chest. His heart beat again and his creative power flowed through me but this time, as with his eyes, he toned it down for me. Then suddenly I was inside of his heart. I’m not sure how I knew I was in his heart but I knew I was. As I stood inside his heart I was overwhelmed by his love. His love is the most amazing love you can ever experience. I also became aware that every human being that has ever been created or will be created was held within the Father’s heart. He holds us within his heart, loving us, trying to help us if we let him, and speaking to us if we listen. I also knew that if any of us would leave his heart we would die. It is his creative life giving love that brings us into existence and helps us in our life’s journey. His love for each one of us individually was overflowing, exuberant, joyful. He delighted in each one of us and wanted so much for us to be with him one day. He gave us life and he wants to help us return to him when we die. We are his cherished children. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I thanked him for this gift and told him I love him and it was over. As amazing as these experiences were I still cry out him and Jesus when things go wrong in my life. How do I doubt after this that he has a plan for my life and will not let me fail him even when things get tough in my life? He is the father that every human being dreams of having. We just need to remember this fact and turn to him and Jesus for all of our needs. The answer won’t always be yes but he will help us through those difficult times, telling us of his love for us and holding us close to his chest.
